Autumn-into-Winter Self-Care Workshop
Working on slowing down the mind and body to ease gently from autumn into winter. Sunday Nov 27th.

Breathing in change... Grounding & realigning... Warming & transforming... ...with a gentle and holistic practice of pranayama (breath-work), asana (the yogic postures) and guided meditation - you will be left feeling connected with your inner seasons and their natural cycles. Autumn is a time to shed, release and surrender, in preparation for winter. I invite you to give way to a slower pace of life - honour this transition from a place of quiet introspection and release any resistance that may appear on your journey. Together we will... - warm the body using breath-work & gentle postures - calm & still the mind with the breath - progress into a delicious Restorative Yoga practice, using blankets and cushions to support the body and allow deep myofascial release - close our yoga practice with a heavenly long Svasana (corpse pose/relaxation) - be guided through a meditation inspired by the calm and stillness of winter For this workshop you will need... - your yoga mat - a yoga block/a rolled up towel - several cushions or pillows - a blanket - a drink of water - comfortable clothing - a cosy spot to practice! I warmly welcome beginners to advanced practitioners, no experience of yoga is necessary! I teach with the mantra 'yoga is for anybody and every body' in mind. To cancel or transfer your ticket to another class please get in touch at least 24hrs before class otherwise your ticket will be unredeemable. For workshops, please be in contact a minimum of 72hrs before the event. Refunds can be issued but Stripe fees will be deducted (1.4% of transaction + 20p) - however your ticket can be transferred to a like-for-like class instead!
