my life...

I enjoy a simple and wholesome nomadic existence living between our narrowboat, cruising the beautiful waterways, and our log cabin in Wales. I am a new mom, wholeheartedly enjoying sharing my lifestyle with my baby daughter - we love walking our dogs and absorbing nature, creating and growing things & cooking good vegan food!

I strongly believe in looking after our planet and sharing compassion with all living beings, including ourselves. Our wonderful homes inspire me each day to live modestly and naturally, taking time to do the basic things and not taking anything for granted. I feel a deep connection with Mother Earth and have profound gratitude for her ability to provide unconditionally for us all.

my story...

Yoga has been a constant throughout my life and has been paramount to my mental, emotional and physical well-being. Embracing a yogic way of life has guided me through my most difficult times and has shown me a path to contentment and inner peace. I struggled with poor mental health for a number of years but gradually my yoga and meditation practice eased the conflicts in my mind and continues to help me live as my bright and sparkling self!
Each day I learn more about truly following the yogic path and hope to share these endless benefits with you all!

my vision...

I strive to share a deep and holistic yoga experience. I truly believe the problems we face in life are due to a fundamental disconnect from our true selves, nature and other human beings - by sharing my passion and knowledge of yoga I aim to help people find their place in life, reconnect with what truly matters and discover inner peace.
Yoga can be defined as "unity" - finding the union between your individual soul and the universal soul allows you to connect with the whole of humanity, with nature and with oneself. The form of yoga we share together on the mat is called the asanas - by combining this practice with meditation and pranayama (breath-work) and striving to follow yogic principles...we can move together towards unity.

I live by the mantra that yoga is for anyone and every body and I teach a range of styles and levels to offer something for all.

what I offer...

PRESTEIGNE, POWYS

A lovely clan of local Yogis sharing a space of revolving Restorative/Hatha Yoga practices - we grow together, alongside our fellow practitioners, all feel welcomed into the space and bring their own unique energy & light.

ZOOM

I find some Yogis reluctant to practice in a pixelated format, but actually the accessibility of being able to practice from ones own home is liberating! Particularly beneficial if you have children or don't live locally, online classes are inclusive to those who may otherwise not be able to access sessions. You are able to choose whether your camera is turned on and all participants microphones are turned off when we begin practice. My advice would be 'don't knock it till you've tried it', light candles, burn incense & enjoy!

POP-UP CLASSES

As we explore the length of the Shropshire Union, the Staffordshire & Worcestershire and the Trent and Mersey canals I will be setting up outdoor yoga classes & workshops during the finer months of the year along the way! I have always dreamed of being a travelling teacher of yoga and meditation, sharing what I am most passionate about with people across the counties!

WORKSHOPS

Having an extended quantity of time (usually 2hrs) means we can deepen our practice together, by experimenting and exploring varying aspects of yoga (the asanas, meditation, pranayama & other yogic principles). Dedicating a chunk of time and space to our self-care is so beneficial - we are able to fully engage and become absorbed in our practice and truly receive its many benefits.
